About Me
The Art of Invisible Storytelling
I believe editing is the final rewrite of the script. My approach combines technical mastery of Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve with a deep understanding of narrative pacing. I don't just cut footage; I sculpt performances and build rhythm to ensure the story lands with maximum emotional impact.
My Journey
From Business Graduate to Professional Storyteller

A Masters Student of Post-Production Editing at Bournemouth University, England
It started with an emotion. As a child in India, I didn’t just watch Ranbir Kapoor’s movies; I lived them. I felt every beat of his performance, and long after the credits rolled, those feelings stayed with me. I realized then that cinema isn’t just images, it is the transfer of emotion.
As an introvert, I was too shy to stand in front of a camera, but I found my voice behind one. My journey began not in a studio, but on an Android phone in my 11th standard, cutting clips on Alight Motion and CapCut. Seeing strangers on social media connect with my 30-second edits was my first taste of the power of post-production. I realized I could make people feel just by controlling the timing of a cut.
But passion doesn't pay for software. Unable to afford industry tools, I taught myself DaVinci Resolve using the free version and YouTube tutorials. I became obsessed with the craft, devouring lessons from creators like Casey Faris. In a bold move, I emailed Casey to thank him, and to my surprise, he replied. That email led to my first break: working as an Assistant Editor on his short films. It was a crash course in professional workflows, bin locking, and the technical backbone of storytelling.
When I graduated with a Commerce degree, I stood at a crossroads. My father, worried about stability, urged me to take a government job. But I had a different vision. I showed him my freelance portfolio, my client feedback from the US, and the career I had built from my bedroom. I convinced him to let me chase a bigger dream.
That dream brought me to the UK and Bournemouth University, where I am now pursuing my MA in Post-Production Editing. I didn't just transfer my skills; I elevated them, earning a High Distinction (85%) in Storytelling in my first semester.
Today, I combine that raw, self-taught hunger with the disciplined workflows of high-end cinema. I leverage everything from Avid Media Composer to cutting-edge AI tools to tell stories that matter. My goal is no longer just to edit content, but to craft feature films for studios like the BBC and Warner Bros, creating those same unforgettable moments that inspired me as a child.
